There seems to be some sort of bug where it gets stuck failing and I suspect they added some coding that is supposed to counter it. I think the coding for the artifacts is such a giant mess that if they put numbers, they would be very wrong. I still have to collate a lot of attempt numbers from my spreadsheets to work that out. It reads the "rolls" off the same list for all 5 & 6 star items lvl 10+, so maybe it uses a different number range for lower stars and lower levels. But there is a distinct threshold for each of those levels, rather than the "low" or "minimal" categories it lists. The required number for a successful attempt is something like 95 or higher (on a 1-100 scale) for a lvl 15, 90 or higher for a level 14, 85 or higher for a level 13, etc. The mechanics suggest the game is reading dice rolls off a list (only for the "Upgrade 1 Level" function, without the "instant" checked), rather than rolling a random number each time. I'm also using that trick to work out the odds. I discovered this when testing the upgrade internet disconnect trick. There's an upgrade mercy system (they didn't tell anyone) now that guarantees an upgrade at 30 attempts, but it's only per-item and they have to be continuous attempts (ie, have the "upgrade one level" going continuously on one item for 30 attempts). (Changes were made from the time i had last notes on Dredge, I have underlined the ones i changed.)ġ. Even Hinduism has its share of flat earth mythology, despite being in general against the idea. Even Taoist scholars recognized using an experiment identical to Eratosthenes' that the Earth was flat and the heavenly bodies close - coming to the same conclusion as Rowbotham era researchers. Other tribes and civilizations native to America found the flat earth as a central piece to their precise astronomical calculations and predictions. The stars? They were tiny holes poked in the hide. In some Native American tribes, the sky was seen to be like the tarp of a tent - stretched over the flat earth. For example, in various sects of Shinto over its history, the heavens were to be seen either up in the mountains or across the seas, betraying the view of a flat earth. Many are familiar with the more famous Egyptian and Christian views, presented below along with Buddhism, but few know how many religions truly talk of a Flat Earth. The Flat Earth cosmology can be traced to religions spread throughout time and geography. Before launch, Blizzard said the game would run at 960p docked and a native 720p portable, while targeting the 60 frames per second that is a core part of Diablo 3 gameplay. A year later it carried this version over to PS4 and Xbox One. Blizzard converted Diablo 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013, a year after it arrived on PC, and did extensive work on the balancing, controls and interface then to create a comfortable console gaming experience. Happily, the studio had some great source material to work with. This is the first time a Blizzard game has graced a Nintendo platform in 15 years - since the Californian studio brought its classic games Rock n' Roll Racing and Blackthorne to Game Boy Advance, and before that improbably put StarCraft on Nintendo 64 - so there's quite a lot resting on Iron Galaxy's work. Last year it partnered with Bethesda on the excellent Switch version of Skyrim, and this year it has joined forces with Blizzard to bring Diablo 3 to Nintendo's hybrid system. The developer Iron Galaxy Studios is fast carving out a niche for itself as a specialist in porting modern classics to the Nintendo Switch. However, earlier this year I stumbled across this book and noticed a section that gave a great primer on the subject. They just copy and paste it from one document to another, with no appreciation for what it means, why it's important, and why accuracy is crucial.įor a long time now, I've intended to write a detailed blog post explaining the basics of how legal descriptions work and why they're important. This is why legal descriptions are required on every deed, and why land surveyors need this information in order to do their job.Įven with the inherent importance of a property's legal description, I've found that most real estate investors have no idea how to comprehend or interpret this bizarre string of letters and numbers. The legal description (and in some cases, the municipal plat maps it references) allow us to determine the size, shape, boundaries, and location of a parcel. It's more authoritative than the address and the parcel number, and if this information is stated incorrectly on a deed, the wrong piece of real estate will be transferred. To put it simply, a property's legal description is the definition of the real estate being bought and sold. One of the most critical (and confusing) pieces of information that goes into a land transaction is the legal description. |
